The Miss Point Fortin Borough Queen Pageant organization is thrilled to announce significant changes to its eligibility criteria, effective for the 2024 pageant. Beginning next year, the pageant will welcome mothers, married women, and divorced women as delegates, expanding the opportunity for women of all backgrounds to showcase their talents, intelligence, and grace on the Miss Point Fortin stage.
This decision aligns with the evolving landscape of international pageants, primarily, Miss Universe and Miss World, where inclusivity and diversity are now at the forefront. The Miss Point Fortin Borough Queen Pageant is committed to reflecting the vibrant and diverse community it represents, and these changes will ensure that more women have the chance to participate in this prestigious event.
To be eligible for the Miss Point Fortin Borough Queen Pageant, delegates must:
Be between the ages of 17 and 29 years old
Have been born a biological female and identified as such on their official government-issued birth certificate.
Be a resident of the Borough of Point Fortin and environs, worked or attended school within the Point Fortin economic catchment area or can identify with strong social ties to the Point Fortin community.
The Miss Point Fortin Borough Queen Pageant will take place on Friday, April 26th, 2024, and will feature a captivating evening of talent, eloquence, and community spirit. inners will receive cash prizes, gift vouchers, and the opportunity to represent at various events and initiatives.
