Mya Bartholomew, winner of the 2019 Miss Point Fortin Borough Queen title, has extended her warm greetings and best wishes to the delegates participating in this year’s Borough Beauty Queen Show.
Mya, who is currently pursuing a degree in medicine at The Faculty of Medical sciences, Cave Hill Campus, University of the West Indies (UWI), Barbados, was the last crowned Miss Point Fortin Borough Beauty Queen, as the show was cancelled from 2020 through 2022 due to Covid-19 restrictions.
Mya conveyed her message to the delegates via a video message, in which she shared how her experience in the pageant helped her develop self-esteem and confidence. She expressed her desire that the current contestants have a similar experience and encouraged them to enjoy themselves while also putting their best foot forward.
Very soon, Mya will be joining former Miss Point Fortin delegates who are now medical doctors.
